Schools’ Parliament Contribute to Child Friendly City

School Parliamentarians in Years 8, 9 and 10 have made their voices heard in a consultative conference on the Liverpool Child Friendly City initiative.

The LCFC are dedicated to making Liverpool a place that is safe and welcoming for young people and are gaining the input of teens from Liverpool Schools’ Parliament to help with this. The students engaged really well with the programme and were really keen to give their opinions on how to make the city more suitable for young people. With the website design, some of them came up with some brilliant ideas as to what the LCFC should include on their website. The LCFC representatives in the zoom call were very pleased with the students' ideas.

The Liverpool School Parliament will meet throughout the year and engage with LCFC, which will give the students opportunity to have a voice on matters of concern and to be heard by the people who have influence in the running of the city.
