The Level 3 Cambridge Technical in Performing Arts (Music) is designed to prepare you for a career in the performing arts sector by developing and nurturing your performing skills along with teaching you about the industry and sector. The course contains a range of centre assessed units in which you must perform, research and write essays. You will develop strategies, attitudes and survival skills for sustaining a career in the performing arts industry, as well as an understanding of the expectations of potential employers so that you can maximise your chances of getting work in a fiercely competitive environment.

Students can focus on creating music, mastering techniques as an instrumentalist and vocalist, producing music using technology, singing or performance as well as an opportunity to explore writing songs or managing the equipment used in the music-making process.

Additionally, students benefit from vocal and instrumental lessons, participate in extracurricular work and compete in festivals to develop their skills and showcase their talents.
