Dance BTEC allows students to showcase their practical performance ability and enables them to develop their creativity in choreography. Student will not only develop their Dance capability but the course also works on their team working, communication, time management and interactive skills as they become both the performer and choreographer. The BTEC allows students to develop their ability and experience the Performing Arts industry at a professional level.

The course involves written course work and an essay looking at the work of professional practitioners. Many former students have gone on to train at well acclaimed establishments such as Bird College London, North Liverpool Dance Academy and LIPA, whilst others have utilised these skills by going into teaching or management courses. There are various extra-curricular opportunities, with trips such as; London, New York, theatre trips and professional dance workshops. This course provides varied and diverse lessons, developing many transferable skills that can be applied to working life.
