St Julie’s Catholic High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment
Poets in Years 7 and 8 have let their imagination run free as 27 students have been selected for publication in the Young Writers' Company 'Imagine' competition!
The organisation runs themed competitions throughout the school year for students of all ages, and this latest competition was based around a set of suggestions under the title of 'Imagine'.
The set of prompts included ideas such as: Imagine if dreams were real; Imagine if you could see the future; Imagine if they know the real you; Imagine if you could see what people were thinking and Imagine if children ruled the world.
The poets selected for publication have received a certificate and bookmark and can hopefully look forward to seeing their work in print in May. We hope that other budding writers will work to emulate their success in future competitions!
