It was a great pleasure to welcome our newest members of the school community as fully fledged Year 7 students today!
Our students arrived in strength, with 98% attendance, and conducted themselves with distinction. The first day of learning allowed students to get to know their form tutors and each other, as well as meeting some of their subject teachers for the first time and getting a taste of what life at St. Julie's is going to be like.
With our Year 7 students being the first full year group to experience teaching under our new arrangements for September, we will be in the unusual situation of our older students looking to our younger students as an example of how to work smoothly within them.
Thank you to all of our new students for giving us a fantastic day to begin the year with!
