St Julie’s Catholic High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment
In early July we were delighted to get the chance to welcome our newest Year 7 students into St. Julie's for their induction day.
As well as getting the chance to meet their form tutors, the students were able to spend a good part of the day in lesson activity, getting to meet their teachers in some of the subjects that they will be studying in September.
As well as trying lessons in subjects such as English, History, Science, Art, Modern Languages, Maths, PE and Geography, students were able to familiarise themselves with the operation of the Dining Room.
A good exploratory opportunity was the duck hunt, taking the students to locations all around the site in pursuit of a series of letters to make a word.
It was a real pleasure to spend more time with the students, and we are all looking forward to seeing them again in September!
