Our Year 7 students  took part in an exciting Enterprise Morning on Tuesday, led by Career Connect. Working collaboratively in  groups, students developed creative product ideas and pitched them to local employers from a wide range of sectors, including construction and law. The morning provided a fantastic opportunity for students to develop key employability skills, including teamwork, communication, problem-solving, creativity and presentation skills.

They showed great enthusiasm, confidence and entrepreneurial thinking throughout the event. The employers were incredibly impressed by their creativity and work ethic and were described as a 'credit to the school.' One employer praised their 'enthusiasm, creativity and inclusivity' whilst another stated 'their innovative ideas and strong transferable skills demonstrated great potential for their future careers.' 

We'd like to say a huge thank you to Career Connect for organising such a valuable experience and to all the employers who generously gave their time, shared their expertise and offered feedback and encouragement to our students. Well done, Year 7!
