As part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a group of Year 9 students organised a fundraising event this week to raise both awareness and funds for Alder Hey Children’s Charity. The initiative encouraged students and staff to wear yellow ribbons as a symbol of support for children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our school community, an impressive £278.54 was raised for Alder Hey Children’s Charity. This fantastic achievement will help support the vital work carried out by the charity while also raising awareness of an important cause.
