On Wednesday this week we welcomed Hazel Snell DL, the High Sheriff of Merseyside, into school to find out more about our pro-active work related to Violence Against Women and Girls.

At the start of her tenure, the High Sheriff pledged to highlight work on tackling VAWG. She watched our dramatic performances and this has led to an exciting opportunity for our students to showcase their work to a wider audience.

In October a group of our students will be performing for a number of distinguished guests including High Court Judges, the Lord Lieutenant of Liverpool and the Chief Constable of Merseyside. This is a wonderful recognition of both the quality of their performances and the importance of the messages that they have worked so hard to communicate.
