Year 10 Hospitality and Catering students benefited from the commercial experience of our Catering Manager, Mr Eccles, in a lesson this week!

Drawing on his experience at venues like Hall and Woodhouse, Baltic Social and Moose Coffee, Mr Eccles gave an explanation of the five mother sauces before leading the students through perfecting the basic roux before assembling and preparing a chicken, bacon and leek pie for baking.
