On Friday we enjoyed the sunshine and took our school along to Wavertree Athletics Centre for Sports Day!

We made some pragmatic adaptations in account of the hot weather, but students still enjoyed the full breadth of running, jumping, throwing, putting, hula-hooping and rope pulling that we see in our annual event.

Finishing ahead of the strongest heat of the day, our events culminated in a hard fought staff vs students relay race - which the staff won! 

We then had the all important results announcement, and the final flag flying belonged to Maria! We congratulate our winners for their excellent performances and thank students and staff across the school for their great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
