This week Year 9 students Lilia and Jessica represented St Julie's at the annual Archdiocesan Public Speaking Competition, hosted this year by Archbishop Beck.

Our speakers were extremely impressive in their delivery, presenting strong, confident and thoughtful arguments, and accompanying these with all of the non-verbal skills that make up an excellent speech.

Whilst pipped to the winning post, both students were commended with certificates and prizes, awarded by representatives from national exam boards and Deacon Mannings.
