Our Year 12 A-Level Drama students captivated audiences with two strikingly contrasting devised performances. One powerful piece, inspired by Katie Mitchell’s naturalistic style and innovative use of live camera feed, explored the harsh realities of domestic abuse, leaving audiences both deeply moved and empowered by its message of resilience and hope.

In complete contrast, a laugh out loud comedy set in a care home showcased outstanding multi-role performances inspired by John Godber. Full of energy, sharp characterisation and comic timing, the production delighted audiences and demonstrated the students’ impressive versatility.
