On Wednesday this week students from years 7 and 8 took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge.

This is a challenge that is designed to encourage mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency to make students think and is taken by schools internationally.

While the problems are mostly accessible they also provide a good challenge whilst promoting careful thinking and problem-solving!

Top scoring participants  are awarded Bronze, Silver or Gold certificates, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for when the results come in in a few weeks time! Good luck to all who took part!
