Thinking of Medicine or Nursing?

The response to the Covid-19 pandemic has brought the work of critical care staff into sharp focus. Are you thinking of a career in Medicine or Nursing?

During the period of lockdown we've had student at St. Julie's volunteering or working with hospital trusts to serve the public, gaining great professional insights and team working skills.

For this interested in Medicine, the following information will be useful:

Applying to Medical School

In order to study medicine students need to complete additional BMAT / UCAT tests as outlined below:

UCAT

As of 1st June:

  • Students taking this test will have the option of doing so at home or at a test centre
  • Registration opens 1st July
  • Testing window operates from 3rd August to 1st October 2020
  • Students need to check out
