Successful children's author and poet visits St. Julie's
Gez Walsh, children's author whose books include "There's a Spot on my Bum", "Noah's Nasty Knickers", "FIdo's Foul Surprise" and "Mum, the Dog's Drunk Again" visited St. Julie's to run workshops with pupils of years 7 and 8.

It was a great day, with the author helping to bring his books to life and promote the importance of reading. Students commented "He was hysterical, very funny", "he made poems interesting" and one year 7 girl said of Gez "He gave a wide variety of genres that have inspired me to read".

Thanks to Gez from all the students at St. Julie's!
