As a part of their studies into the tourism industry for the A Level Equivalent Applied Diploma in Tourism, Year 12 and 13 students visited Chester Zoo to learn about how the zoo markets itself as a tourist attraction.

The Year 13 students actually organised the event as part of their coursework focusing on event planning, and both sets of pupils will have benefitted from the excellent workshop provided by the education team there.

The time spent exploring the zoo and analysing how it provides for tourists was also very enjoyable!
