A group of students from Year 9 led by Miss Peers and Mr Alderman are in London to visit the Royal Society!

The Royal Society, or more properly 'The President, Council, and Fellows of the Royal Society of London for Improving Natural Knowledge' was founded by Royal Charter in 1660 and as such might be the oldest such society in the world.

The Society has an incredibly rich history, and has been led by some of the most brilliant scientific minds ever known, including Sir Isaac Newton, Lord Rayleigh and Sir Ernest Rutherford.
