The Geography department has worked hard over the past few weeks to support Operation Christmas Child's Shoebox Appeal.
The department taught all Key Stage 3 pupils about the importance of the Shoebox Appeal for children in countries at lower levels of economic development, with pupils investigating the geography of the countries that receive shoeboxes.
The shoeboxes completed by pupils and staff at St. Julie's were collected on November 24 and are now starting their journey to children across Eastern Europe and Africa who may never have experienced the joy, excitement and real meaning of Christmas before. Well done St. Julie's for supporting such a worthwhile cause!
