St. Julie's Hosts Safeguarding Launch!
St Julie’s is delighted to have been host to the launch of the Liverpool Safeguarding Children’s Board website. The Safeguarding Children’s Board have established this website as a resource for professionals, young people, parents and members of the public to be able to access relevant, up to date information about safeguarding. The website can be viewed at www.liverpoolscb.org.

At the launch there were several awards presented to students of both St. Julie’s Catholic High School and Woolton Junior School. A special award was presented to Bethanie Gore, a Year 11 prefect at St. Julie’s by Mr Alderman, Head Teacher. Bethanie has worked actively with St. Julie’s year 7 students to help them settle into their new environment. Bethanie stands as a mature, confident and caring prefect and consistently makes an extra effort to help every child feel welcome. She was also pro-active in raising awareness about bullying and identifying pupils who may be struggling to make friends. Bethanie was involved in helping  year 7 students arrange a whole school charity event which raised, we are  thrilled to say, an amazing £2,000 for Children in Need.

At  St. Julie’s we are proud to say that we provide a safe and caring environment and students like Bethanie contribute to helping make our school a friendly and caring environment.
