Year 11 Parents Evening

"We are delighted with the progress that our daughter is making and are so grateful to all of the staff."

...just one of the very many positive comments made on Year 11 Parents' Evening.

Thank you to all of the parents and carers who came to meet subject teachers on 11th January, which parents agree was a very positive and informative evening. 80% of Year 11 pupils attended with a family member.

They were greeted in reception by sixth-form volunteers, who handed out reports and helped with directions and refreshments. After speaking to teachers, parents and carers were asked to complete a short questionnaire and the responses showed that the overwhelming majority of Year 11 parents feel their daughter has made good progress during Years 10 and 11 at St. Julie's and that school keeps them well-informed about their daughter's progress and the choices she can make at the end of Year 11. Parents and carers feel that staff respond to any concerns they have and say that their daughters are happy at St. Julie's.

Many parents expressed their appreciation to staff and this is a small selection of the written comments made:

"So pleased with my daughter's work to date and thanks to all the staff for their support and good comments."

"Many thanks to all the staff on parents' evening - very informative and helpful. Much appreciated."

"Very pleased with our daughter's progress."

"Just a quick note to thank all the staff for the after-hours revision. These sessions have been really valuable in my daughter's progress and achieving her predicted grades."
