On Tuesday and Wednesday students in Year 9 celebrated all of their achievements at Key Stage 3 with a trip to the Lake District that drew upon many of the themes studied during Citizenship lessons this year.

The trip started with a woodland walk to the summit of Orrest Head to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and a picnic lunch. Then came the much easier walk down to enjoy the town of Bowness-on-Windermere in the glorious weather!
