On Wednesday a group of Year 10 students wore their St Julie's badge with pride to attend a series of debates at the magnificent Athenaeum in the city centre, in all of its historical and literary splendour.

The debate was impassioned, articulate and impactful, resulting in a victory over the team from Archbishop Blanch. 

Our students were complimented on their effervescent personalities and their ability to listen and then respond respectfully to differing opinions. The accompanying staff watched on with great pride as the team exuded confidence, honing skills that will make for some powerful orators for the future!
