Prior to the Easter break Jemima and Amy visited Oxford University for a residential opportunity offered by Liverpool Aspire.
The visit gives Aspire students across the city the chance to meet up and experience university life.
During their time there they attended three academic classes based on their future interests in addition to visiting the Natural History and Ashmolean Museums. Lectures presented students with an insight to life at Oxford University followed by a Q&A session and they were able to attend an admissions workshop which included tips for applying and interview practice.
They stayed within the university in St Peter's College halls to gain a true taste of university life; and spent their evenings with other students and undergraduates where they took part in quizzes and a range of other activities provided by the university and Aspire.
