The timing of Easter and the school term dates this year meant that we were able to hold our end of term Easter Services during Holy Week, and on Maundy Thursday the school community joined over two services in the Sports Hall to reflect on the most important part of the Catholic calendar.
Led by our Chaplain, the services this year focussed on the Passion story as it may have been experienced by the women who followed and supported Jesus’ ministry; those women who remained with Him until the end.
Over 40 students were involved as readers, singers, bringing visual props forward or as technical support to help make the service a poignant experience. Palm crosses were available to all students at the end of the service as reminder of the meaning of this coming Easter season.
