On Friday our Y8/9 football team played in Round 2 of the ESFA football competition against tough opposition: Great Sankey High School in Warrington.
The fixture needed to go to extra time and our players had to dig deep and show tremendous resilience. The eleven goal thriller finished 5-6 AET with St Julie's progressing into the next round!
Determination and passion were shown with some excellent leadership skills demonstrated by our captain and vice-captain Katie and Savannah in Year 9. Again, an excellent performance from all players. They should be proud of themselves.

St Julie's have been drawn against Upton Hall in the next round.
