After our welcome event earlier in the year it was lovely to once again spend time with our newest students on the Year 6 Transition Day.

Our students had a busy day getting comfortable in their new environment and meeting their new form tutors for the first time.

We started the day with a welcome assembly led by Mr Alderman, Mrs Rooney and Mrs Maguire that took place in the Dorothy Stang Theatre.

After the assembly it was off to class to meet with Form Tutors and of course the other members of the form!

After a short break students got their first taste of lessons in English, History, RE and Science.

After lunch and some time on the yard it was back in form more lessons, with Spanish, Art and ICT added to the mix! Then it was a return to the Dorothy Stang Theatre to enjoy a high energy Performing Arts Showcase performed by students from across our year groups.

After the extravaganza, students returned to form bases before ending the day by gathering together in the Chapel for a reflection led by our Chaplain.

We hope that our new students enjoyed the day as much as we did, and we're looking forward to seeing them all again in September!
