Students Get Colourful!

Students in Art and Technology have produced some great work this week exploring printing and colour tones.

Students in 8P/DT3 Textiles with Miss Peacock have been consolidating their knowledge about Indian Culture, by producing 'Polyprints' on to fabric.  Pupils' engagement during the printing process was superb and the outcomes, as you can see, are beautiful and epitomise the rich colours and intricate patterning found in India.

Meanwhile Year 7 students in Art, were exploring colour theory this week. Students had to develop skills in mixing colours to produce a grid featuring tints, tones and shades. It was tricky but all students pushed themselves to achieve good results. A special nod goes to Faith for an excellent effort!
