St Julie’s Catholic High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment
During this morning’s Friday LIVE @ 8:55 broadcast, Nina and Tiphaine carried our statue of St. Julie down to the Sports Hall where Y11 and Y13 Assessments are taking place over the next few weeks.
It is one of our traditions that Year 12 students move this statue so that it can be there watching over the candidates.
In those troubling moments, when perhaps things are not going so well or the mind goes blank, the statue of St. Julie is there as a focus if candidates need a moment of prayer or reflection. Every year, students comment on how comforting this can be and how a little timeout with St. Julie can help them get their minds re-focussed.
We wish all our students well in their assessments.
