St Julie’s Catholic High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment
Honouring today's anniversary of Sister Dorothy Stang's supreme sacrifice, the winners of our celebration competition are in!
We asked students to produce any kind of response in celebration of Sister Dorothy's life and what she did to promote the cause of environmental sustainability.
The responses were diverse, and all entries were shared with our former Chair of Governors and great friend to St. Julie's, Sister Margaret who was quick to highly commend the efforts of the entrants.
We felt there was one outright winner who really encapsulated the spirit of Sister Dorothy, and so honours go to Tabitha in Year 7 for her potted plant with Notre Dame cross ornamentation bejewelled with hearts.
Thanks to all of our entrants, and we've shared some of the entries in the gallery below.
