For Whom the Bell Tolls

On Friday, the Peace Bell rang out across the Peace Garden at St. Julie's in advance of World Peace Day on 21st September.   The bell tolling was a reminder of the challenge to be peacemakers in our world - in our school, in our families and, of course, online.

Over two hundred years ago, St. Julie - who lived through the turmoil of the French Revolution and nursed soldiers at the Battle of Waterloo - wrote:

“Peace is the greatest pledge of God's love for you. Preserve this precious treasure carefully.”
