A group of Year 11 students have spent the weekend surrounded by Llangollen's natural beauty as they completed their Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition.
The intrepid explorers enjoyed beautiful weather that meant keeping hydrated was a greater challenge than keeping warm! With tent erecting, catering and map reading skills all put to the test, the candidates look to be in a good position for gaining their bronze award in the final assessment.
