January 27th is Holocaust Memorial Day, and our pupils have had the chance to find out more about what the Holocaust was, and why it is so vitally important that we remember it.
The photo shows some of the postcards our Year 7 pupils have written to a lady who was saved from experiencing the Holocaust directly by being part of the Kindertransport scheme, but incredibly sadly, her parents were killed in the Holocaust.
Our pupils have learned about her experiences and have written to express their thoughts to her. We are now going to post them off and will hopefully get some replies to extend our understanding of this important event even further.
