On Friday, 19th September, St. Julie's held two lunchtime services celebrating United Nations International Day of Peace!  70 pupils and members of staff gathered to show their solidarity with those who are suffering because of conflict around the world.

They mixed salt and water as a reminder of the tears caused by violence and aggression but remembered that salt water can be used to cleanse and heal!  The congregation asked for God's forgiveness and blessed themselves with the water.  Participants sang hymns and affirmed their commitment to being peacemakers by signing the bricks on a "peace bridge".
