Sophie Cotton and Katy Hodgson in Year 8 are honing their Mathematical skills in a series of special master classes at the Liverpool Universities!
The classes are run by 'Mathematical Education on Merseyside' and the workshops take place at Liverpool University, John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University.
There are about sixty people available across Merseyside for Pupils in Year 8, and they offer students the chance to participate in problem solving and practical activities and work with pupils from different schools.
Subject leader for Maths, Mrs Connolly (pictured) explained: "I'm really proud of the commitment that both students show in their Maths lessons and I didn't hesitate to put their names forward so that they could have the opportunity to develop their enthusiam for Maths even more!"
