Year 7 Mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King

On Wednesday 28 September thirty of our year seven pupils celebrated a special Mass at the Cathedral as a welcome to all new year seven pupils in the Diocese.

It was a fantastic celebration with Bishop Tom Williams as the main Celebrant and each school contributing in some form to animate the Mass. The post Communion reflection was led by St. Julie's pupils in the form of a sign language recital, which reflected upon the unique talents and gifts God has given to all young people and the idea that so much can be achieved if we only believe.

The gathering of our community of schools was not only an inspiring and uplifting event but also a very prayerful and profound one. The school is proud of all pupils who preapred thoroughly and represented us at the Mass.
