Some of our talented Year 7 students have been honing their sugarcraft in the creation of some beautiful yule log cakes.

The students contextualised their lesson by learning about the yule log tradition and how this evolved into cakes.

Then it was time to get practical with some magnificent construction and decorating. Great attention was paid to structure, texturing and visual appeal, and everything smelled wonderful!
