Throughout this week we'll be bringing you a news story about an Artsmark challenge that we have achieved. Day 1: introducing the Arts Award.
Over the summer term, 174 students rose to the challenge of Arts Award in St Julie’s journey to Arts Mark.
Arts Award is a unique qualification that challenges young people to grow and develop as artists, leaders and inspire others with their work. With just a little direction and support, that’s exactly what they did!
The students designed and delivered lessons, directed, choreographed and performed in their own mini musical, Legally Blonde.
Our Arts Award moderator commended the students for their exceptional work and complimented how articulate and passionate the students were when describing Arts Award.
Well done to all 174 students who passed and are the first St Julie’s students to achieve Arts Award Bronze.
