On Monday 6th March, local author Paul McDermott came to speak to 7P1 and 9Q1 about his latest book, 'Rocking Horse Droppings', and how we can be inspired to do some creative writing. Paul read excerpts from his book and talked about his difficulties and triumphs in becoming a published author. Both classes asked lots of interesting, insightful questions and we discussed the value and importance of creative writing. 

Paul has very kindly left a signed copy of his new book for us. It will be available in the Reading Hub to read or borrow.  Paul will also be signing copies of his new book in St Mark's Club on Thursday 16th March at 7:30, for all interested.
