On Monday 2nd March Saint Julie's Modern Foreign Languages department hosted a GCSE revision day named ‘Pas de Panique' at our Sunflower centre. Year 11 pupils from local secondary schools, accompanied by their teachers, were invited to take part, along with 12 of our own students.

On Wednesday 25th February we are holding an Ash Wednesday Service incorporating the blessing and distribution of Ashes. Parents are very welcome to join the Service at 8:40am in the Dorothy Stang Theatre.

For the Holocaust Memorial Day this year we were honoured to receive a visit from Mrs. Kay Fyne, who was one of the last evacuees from Germany as part of the Kindertransport.

All parents and carers should have received the above questionnaire which was sent home via the pupils on Friday.
We would be most grateful if all completed questionnaires could be returned to school by Tuesday 10th February.

Due to anticipated adverse weather conditions for Tuesday 3rd February the school will be closed for one day. We will re-open as normal on Wednesday 4th February. The Parents' afternoon for Year 13 is regrettably postponed until later this term. We would like to apologise for the short notice.

For one night only on Wednesday the 11th February we are delighted to play host to the professional touring production of Nick Leather's 'Billy Wonderful'. Tickets are incredibly inexpensive at £3 per person and are available from the Everyman Box Office.

St. Julie’s Sixth Form  invites parents and carers of Year 11, 12 and 13  to our finance presentation, “Managing Student Finances” on Tuesday 27 January at 7pm in the Dorothy Stang Theatre.

On Sunday 7th December, 11 students from Year 12 took part in the Liverpool Santa Dash 5K fun run. Despite the near freezing conditions, they completed with great enthusiasm a course around the city centre in full Santa outfits, complete with hats and beards (as well as some of their own accessories!)

St. Julie's is delighted to be hosting a theatrical performance commissioned by the Liverpool PCT 'Liveability Service' to highlight the importance of health and activity as we get older. The event is free to attend and begins at 2pm on Tuesday 18th November.

Friday the 26th September was not just an ordinary day at St Julie’s. Staff and pupils alike were involved in a variety of activities, to celebrate ‘European Day of Languages’.
