Our Police Associates visited Merseyside Police Headquarters today to meet with Senior Officer, Mr Ryan, and to hand over donations of toiletries to the women's shelters in Liverpool.

The students have been collecting the donations as part of their Violence Against Women and Girl's Strategy, International Women's Day and to raise awareness of CSE.

The students wanted to do something to give back to the local community, so chose this very worthwhile cause. The girls were given the opportunity to meet the two ladies working in Liverpool to ensure this service is available to women and their children when fleeing a violent home.

We'd like to give a massive thank you to Merseyside Police for supporting the strategy and PC Mark Patterson for organising the visit this morning.
