Sports Leaders Step Up to Umpiring Duties

This week saw netball players from 20 primary schools gather at St. Julie's for the LSSP Primary Netball Tournament and ten of our Sports Leader students stepped up to support the event with organisational and umpiring duties.

The tournament ran in two sessions, with children from eight primaries joining us in the morning and 12 schools visiting in the afternoon. We're delighted to report very positive feedback from the visiting staff about how professionally and smoothly the tournament ran as well as praising the accuracy and fairness of the umpiring from our students. Mr Alderman was equally impressed!

We'd like to offer congratulations and very big thank you to Olivia and Yasmin in Year 7, Bethany, Lois. Heidi and Cleo in Year 9, Charlie, Isabella and Libby in Year 10 and to Lillie-May in Year 12.
