YPAS CRISIS WALK-IN SERVICE

(for all 5-25 year olds & parents/carers from Liverpool and Knowsley)

For young people: 

SKY

For 16-25-year-old young people. YPAS’s drop-in service has an open door policy. It provides a safe, comfortable space in a relaxed environment. You can drop in for a chat, meet new people, access the computer suite/wifi, discuss YPAS’s services or take part in informal education sessions. A member of staff is always available to meet and assist you if you need support.

Thrive

For secondary school age young people. Thrive project provides a safe and supportive space where young people can access and receive support, information, guidance and advice. All sessions that are delivered aim to enhance self-esteem, confidence and social skill levels, whilst supporting positive mental health and healthy lifestyle decisions and choices.

Support programmes, courses & coffee events for parents & carers

Coffee Events

Coffee events are currently being held virtually, parents and carers who book on will receive a link to join us online. Lots of services are invited to our coffee events to give information about the support they can offer, previous services who have been invited to talk with parents include , Talk Liverpool, Liverpool Early Help Hubs, LIVPac, Autism in Motion and many more. These events are open access: any parent /carer can attend a coffee event.

Youth Connect 5

A five week programme to help parents gain an understanding, knowledge and skills in relation to promoting resilience for their children. Parents will finish the course with a range of tools that they can use to support their children. This is a course for parents/carers of children aged 8 plus

ParenTalk – The Teenage Years

The teenage years are a time of transition and can be challenging for both teenagers and parents. Parentalk – The Teenage Years is all about helping parents and carers to do the best job they can as they navigate these years with their teenager. It’s a relaxed, informal course giving you the opportunity to talk about the day-to-day challenges you face, as well as sharing the things that are going well.
