Congratulations to Alexandra Clarke in Year 9 who has triumphed in the Liverpool City Council Christmas Card competition!

Alexandra's design was lauded for a vibrant use of colour, and will now be used as one of three designs for the City's official Christmas card.

Acting Mayor Councillor Wendy Simon said: “We are lucky to be blessed with so many creative young people in Liverpool – and our competition has shown just how incredibly talented they are. Our judges were blown away by all the designs which made their job really tough! A huge thank you and well done to everyone who entered, and to all the schools that supported the competition too. 

But the biggest congratulations go to our three deserving winners, Charlie, Ellana and Alexandra. Their designs are fantastic and they should be really proud of their achievements. Their cards are sure to bring festive cheer as they land in inboxes and doormats across the world, including the Mayors of our sister cities."

We're hugely proud of Alexandra's achievement and look forward to seeing more of her work.
