Congratulation to our Sixth Form Students

St Julie’s Sixth Form students were welcomed on site today to receive their A level examination results. These results are based on the centre assessed grades that were standardised by examination boards in lieu of students sitting their external examinations this summer.

Given the uncertain and unprecedented context in which grades have been awarded this year, St Julie’s staff would like to congratulate students on their achievements and for the resilience and maturity they have shown. It goes without saying that we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

We are extremely proud of all they have accomplished. They have shown great ambition in planning for the next stages in their lives and we also recognise and would like to thank parents and carers for the support and commitment they have shown.

In the light of all that we have seen in this unprecedented year it is gratifying to see so many of our students aiming for public service, with progression on to University studies in Education at Primary and Secondary, Pharmaceutical studies, Biomedical Sciences, Midwifery, Tropical Disease Biology, Health & Social Care, Police Studies and many other allied professions. In an incredibly competitive field, well done to Tyler for securing her place reading Medicine and Surgery at Newcastle University.

Huge congratulations Year 13. You have been, quite simply, remarkable. We wish you every happiness and success in your future endeavours. Good luck, best wishes and keep in touch.
