This week a number of our Year 11 Separate Science students were invited to the 'Rise of the Anti-Matter Machines' medical physics lecture, delivered by Dr Heather Williams at the University of Manchester.

The girls were given an insight into the future of medical imaging and were truly inspired by Dr Heather Williams who is at the forefront of this developing field.

The students had the opportunity to ask questions and chat with Dr Heather Williams about her route into Medical Physics and what opportunities there are for aspiring female physicists. She is a fantastic role model for our girls.
