Sixth Form Success with Nuffield Bursaries

Mar 17, 2009

The Nuffield Science Bursaries are for students in their first year of an advanced or higher-level Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths course. The Nuffield Science Bursary scheme gives them the opportunity to join a real research project with practicing Scientists in any STEM area. Projects run for four to six weeks in the summer holidays and students receive an £80 a week bursary.

This year five of our students have been awarded a place. We would like to say congratulations to the lucky students and wish Claire Dunne, Natalie Edwardson, Olivia Hobson, Amanda Niker and Caroline Walsh the best of luck for their placements. We would also like to extend thanks to Mr Radburn for his support of the application and to all teachers of the successful students for their contributions.
