Fruits of Learning for Years 7 and 8

As part of the ongoing school celebrations to commemorate 160 years of the Sisters of Notre Dame in Liverpool, St Julie's took delivery of 5 fruit trees which will be planted in the newly established Design and Technology allotment area.

Year seven and Year eight pupils will shortly be invited to volunteer help with planting, growing and maintaining the allotment growing area in school and hopefully harvest the fruits of their labour for use in future practical food lessons.

The fruit trees are a wonderful addition to this area and a permanent way of commemorating the visionary work of the Sisters of Notre Dame for a long time to come.
