Students Meet Inspiring Women

Dec 3, 2019

Students Meet Inspiring Women

10 students across Year 9 and Year 10 attended  ‘Inspiring Women’s day on  26th November.

The event, organised by engineering consultancy firm Curtins, invited students from high schools across Liverpool to hear from guest speakers and engage in interactive workshops. Their guest speakers were all women who work in traditionally male dominated careers.

The aim of the event was for the speakers to share their experiences and pass on any advice they have for our young women.

The event aimed to show attendees interesting career opportunities through real life experiences which they may not have previously considered. The event was hosted by Stacey Copeland; a female Commonwealth Boxing champion who is also Head of Pupil Wellbeing at a secondary school and a radio host.
