Year 8 Students Meet Local Author

It was a privilege to welcome local author Shaun Millea into school this week to talk to students about his new book: 'Hillsborough: When Will Dad Be Home?'

The story is told from the perspective of a young boy, whose father goes to watch Liverpool v Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough Stadium on 15th April 1989.

The students listened to Shaun and asked lots of interesting questions, creating an informative discussion about events on that tragic day and the legacy that it has left across the city.

Thank you to Shaun for sharing his work with some of our students. If you’re interested in reading the book, please speak to Miss McKean.
